I saw and talked to this band in Austin Tx. what a great a bunch of guys. I spent t a lot of time with the lead guitar player practicing next to me. He was very humble and GOOD!!!

Prolly the best Christian thrash band ever! Really wish Roger and crew would play live again! I bought all their music back in 1989 to present!

Junto con Tourniquet son las dos mejores bandas de thrash, aún mejores que las seculares.

This is great and a rare find. What’s up with the spotty vocal? Everybody is thin and young - and nobody is a Satanist yet. 😂

That's how the sound & vocals were that particular set. It sounded kind of spooky. I wonder how rejecting Christ has turned out for o'l Roger.

This is a rare find! I'm guessing this was an early rendition of what later became Mulligans Stew - the lyrics are completely different in this version. Is there any more footage from this concert available?

To me their stage presence is similar to Anthrax and their sound is a combination of Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica so it's like you have the look and sound of The Big 4 in one band but with a positive attitude and message.

Vengeance Rising introducing a Sabbath style riffing on this track. This thrash metal band didn't get their influences from NWBHM as I would joke of Sacred Warrior as they take the NWBHM approach vocally as I coined them "NWBHM finds God." They almost take cues from Kill Em All era Metallica as they're just as raw but the vocal attack is far different. I had their second album on CD when I was 19 but I was not influenced by Vengeance Rising lyrically as I am also a vocalist -- I offered to write lyrics for Roger if he was going to take Vengeance Rising into a darker direction. He tries too hard to be dark.
