I have been enjoying Petra since the 80’s. I still listen to them today when driving.

Bob Hartman is a great talent. Very underrated. Just saw them in Naperville IL last August. Loved his sound.

Not a big Petra fan, but you can't deny their talent and incredible work at spreading the message and hope of Christ.

That was nice. I remember being young and sneaking on stage before a Petra concert on the Not of This World tour and the band was on stage and I was walking around taking pictures of them and everything. Never got yelled at. Also saw Stryper one time and Ox Fox (the guitarist) let me take a picture of him and he got just as close but my stupid camera jammed and I was trying and trying and trying to take a picture and he just stayed in the same position and cracked a smile because he was tired of waiting for me, but still did. Finally the flash went off and he hurried away. The picture was AWESOME!

That's awesome...My wife surprised me with backstage vip to Petra.. it was nice to finally meet them (we saw them before a few times). I also got to meet Stryper... great bands....

Petra is the top Christian band. Ever try to make a Petra greatest hits “mixtape”? I hope you have 5 blank CDs to burn.

Great guitarist but the singer can’t sing
@paulo.andradeАй бұрын
Oh he can sing... although to be fair, he wasn't in tip condition. He was actually under medical advice to rest his voice. We had a vip interview pre-show and he trying his best not to speak too much--to save his voice.

Ha! Old fogeys taking videos of old fogeys at an old fogey rock concert 🤣 And would someone tell the soundman to TURN DOWN THE SNARE, please? Criminy! Was he even listening to his own mix?

The snare is that loud so old fogeys can hear it lol

I was at one of the concerts on this tour. The mix has nothing to do with it. Acoustically, phone microphones attenuate overdriven sound, so what you're left with is the impulse of the snare. Way to troll the old guys though, since you've never recorded a concert in your life from that close to the stage. "Old Guys Rule" - John Schlitt

@JasonPhipps You're right: all I've done was be in concerts onstage, and run sound from out front more than a few times. Just cuz I'm old doesn't mean I'm not experienced, y'know?
