Thank you for the video! I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 9th gen (2009), but the process is exactly the same.

Lookes farlie easy. My daughter just got a 2012 chrysler 200 with a missing quarter glass, and this looks close enough to it. Thanks for the detailed video!

One thing I would suggest is that you wear safety glasses when handling broken glass. Overall, great video!

Hi John, I do agree. The problem for me is that my up-close eyesight is bad at the best of times, that safety glasses render me nearly blind. But I do agree. Broken glass is a hazard to eyes, hands and more for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. Paul.

Great work Paul. Well done. About that plastic that in process was damaged, I wold like to see a video of repairing it. If you know how to, please make a video on this theme. Thanks for sharing this with us. With love from Chișinau, Moldova.

Hi Tolea, the first thing I want to say is that when I do these repairs without a camera, I do them in a natural body position and not so rushed, and I promise you that I very rarely damage them. So if you do the same: natural position and not rushed - then you probably won't damage them either. However, to answer your question, I suspect that some of the damaged plastic could be repaired with a sharp razorblade that is used to skim the roughened edge. Another possibility would be to use a hair dryer on the plastic to soften it up, and then using a flat spatula to remould the plastic to the correct shape. Something like that. Thanks for watching and commenting. Paul.

Vacuum the bottom of the door. Magic no rattles. Safety glass breaks into a million pieces.
