Paul is the only celebrity whose being seems near-mythological to me. I feel like I'm sharing a timeline with a musical extraordinaire in the vain of Mozart or Beethoven. It's a blessing to have him still around, sharing his stories with the world. What's even nuttier is that he's STILL making great music, and he doesn't look like he's slowing down soon either!

I don't tend to be keen on superlatives, but this is probably the greatest and profoundest interview, I've ever had the pleasure to witness. All sensible, wise and appropriate questions that gave Mr. McCartney the opportunity to utter marvellously insightful answers. It happens to me that I tear up with good music. But with an interview - this was the first time. If there was a Nobel prize for interviewers, Mr. Howe would be a laureate, for sure. So thank you both warmly for this meaningful conversation. And congratulations to you, Sir Paul, for being No.1 with your new album in: * UK, Netherlands and Germany *, so far. May the rest of the world follow soon. You more than deserve it. Thank you for being available for mankind in this difficult time.

As much as I was a bit underwhelmed by the interviewer at least he asked questions not often asked. He didn't conduct the interview like Paul is still in the Beatles he conducted the interview very much in the present day. When he did go back it was the first time in ages I've heard Paul speak of Give Ireland Back to the Irish. That's the whole idea since Paul has a new album to promote. A few tend to be: "Hi Paul. You've got a new album so let's ask you the same tired questions about the Beatles so thank you for coming and good luck with the new album."

Paul McCartney is my hero. I was 14 when he with the Beatles changed music and my life for the better. I still have my first Beatles 45 record, “I Want To Hold Your Hand. The following British Invasion played the soundtrack for my youth and life. I’m an old man now, a bit younger than Paul and in my retirement, I’ve taken my musical abilities, as modest as they are, and have begun to compose, play, sing, record and produce my own music, like Paul, only in the sense that I play all the instruments and do all the production myself. When people ask me what my goal is in doing so, I tell them that I want to compose a song so beautiful that Paul McCartney will want to cover it. Te amo senor McCartney!

I disagree. Wings were never the same band. Always changing members. It would be impossible to get them together to be there. They were never a real band. Their best album was Band on the Run...And it was only Paul and D. Laine. And Linda...but we can't say she contributed to anything musically. Besides, they were not that good, though Wings over American was fine. Paul recognize that. He said once. "Wings sucks". So Paul was really the only star...And He is in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame also for what he did in Wings.

I was born in 1970 (McCartney I), years later as a kid, I loved a tune on the radio which was "Don't Say Goodnight Tonight" and I was like 'what Band is this?' and then I felt the same attraction by "Coming Up!" (McCartney II), my question was again 'Who is this?'. Months later I finally discovered it was Paul McCartney!! and realized that all these great songs I liked and loved where him or The Beatles!!! Now, in this crazy year he gave us (McCartney III) Wow!!! He is definitely my mentor, my fav Rock Star!!

It seems to be if you get him laughing and dont gush too much or wax lyrical about him then he gives a much more interesting interview, i dont like Howard Stern but he gets good interviews out of Paul. Once you start asking questions like "you are so super duper amazing Paul, how do you do that?" Then you just get the same old comments and stories that he always falls back on and that is so boring

Intelligent questions led to meaningful answers instead of the evermore of the same that you have heard a thousand of times, already. With out a doubt this is one of the best information interviews with Paul McCartney. The Doris Day inside information really sealed it. “Time is an illusion” I get it.. Paul McCartney is being so damm honest. Love it..A music writing genius and he doesn’t even know it. Not sure the name of the interviewer, but he nailed the questions. Think about it, you are interviewing Paul McCartney, you can’t ask the same questions that over the years McCartney heard before, how do I come up with good questions followed by great insight, this is it. Wow! Awesome information interview..
