Costa doesn’t want the world to see how big he is. Dude is literally trying to cheat. A weight cut can really drain a fighter which is acceptable if both fighters are drained but costa isn’t. No to mention he has more weight so his punches will be a little harder and grappling will be a bit more challenging when dealing with a heavier opponent especially at this level of competition. I wouldn’t doubt if the ufc starts to phase costa of the roster

His famous wine drinking was because of his inability to sleep because of severe cramping and other issues. The cramping, etc is a perfect example of severe glycogen depletion and dehydration on someone who holds such muscle mass. The same things happen to bodybuilders cutting for a show (which is what he started as)
