Superb restoration of a beautiful model.👌 This was such a clever, but very simple, design - with the three body pieces. It makes the two-tone paint and chrome trim possible, even easy. This is a great model. I saw what the real thing looks like on, Counting Cars, BLAZE channel in the UK. They called to see a tired old Impala, but it wasn't purchased. Exactly the same rear setup.. I loved getting the little Matchbox cars growing up in the 70s..

It's a '59. A 60 had different front and rear.

@@meniego2659 They look somewhat similar from the side but you can easily tell them apart from front and rear. The '59 has Cat Eyes tail lights, while the '60 doesn't. I'm sure you can google the pics.
