I mailed a $1 bill to Pat Paulsen’s first campaign. In a couple of weeks I received a nice letter from Mr Paulsen along with the dollar I sent him. How could you not vote for a candidate who returns your money! I need to find that letter he sent me.

He once told a joke on the show that bombed and with a deadpan expression went "huh huh huh",that got a laugh.I always wondered if he ad libbed or planned the joke to bomb so he could do that laugh.
