the best battery experience i had is Bosch S5 model which is the top of the line. Lasted 5 years before it cant crank. Now you can hardly source Bosch S5 as Bosch themself won't bring in due to high cost.

Yes, every car owner will face this situation. My problem was dead cold cranking battery. 3years, Century dry battery. After that I changed to amaron, still working till now.

There's a particular model of Amaron battery that says "maintenance free" but you still need to refill liquid as needed to avoid the battery draining and worst exploding. Also this particular model of Amaron battery even "maintenance free" has a removable compartment which is the reason why the liquid in the battery gets evaporated and hence why you also need to refill it with a liquid for maintenance.

I’m using a HiLife (u know which brand 😏) since 2018 Jan, so it’s 3 years now and it’s still kicking very strong every time. Not to mention during MCO1.O where the car is idle at home more than driving on road 👍

Matthew could u do me a favour, show Malaysians how to not-choose a wrong after market HID or LED headlamp for their cars (reflector/projector type). I know u can’t lead/encourage people doing the after market conversion by law 😛 But just let them know what spec or aspect that how a not-glaring HID/LED should be, so Malaysians know what to do (if they insist to do 😇) FYI I’m with a projector, no issue with HID/LED with the correct spec & tuning.

The battery that comes with car, is the best and last longer...my hilux using yuasa brand 4yrs from new car only need to change...my civic using FB brand 3years only need to change...

Hilux come with nx120 80ah 560cca...when cca decreased like 250cca cannot start 2500cc starter ...250cca can start any 1800cc car...u can try increase old battery like change 40 percent acid n 60 percent acid...try it with my old 2016 battery ...seem go to 370cca...still can use 1 to 2 year more

Hilux use yuasa nx120 can last 3 to 5 years if add battery water n acid sulfuric ....use 3 time century mf all kong 13 month to 15 month...yuasa wet battery rm 330...vs rm900 ...century mf...alway use oem /standard ...

Gs yuasa n shogun same company...their efb battery seem lasting long ...their m42 seem still hold 330cca after use for 2 year ...resistance just 7 to 8 ohm..just decreased 50cca only ...should last 3 to 5 year more.that equal larger battery cca nx120 yuasa
