Paultons Park Tornado Springs Construction Update - July 2019

My faith in Paultons Park could not be any higher. They are absolutely smashing the construction, theming and marketing for this ride so far. Proper updates, teasers on social media, and now, in stark comparison to the Shawn's recent America trip, where (almost?) all the parks refused one of the biggest theme park vloggers in the world from filming on ride (I assume Shawn asked before going), Paultons allow him behind the fold. Fantastic to see and refreshing to see a company not wasting the talent of Shawn & Co and the huge opportunity it provides to speak directly to a gigantic fan base made up entirely of their target audience. Bloody brilliant!

Peppa Pig World has been a gold mine for Paulton's Park with revenue nearly doubling the year it opened. Rather then just dishing out big bonuses to the top brass they're clearly re-investing that money into the park. What's excellent is the attention to detail. The park is always so clean and tidy and even when it's busy you can still walk on to a ride within a few minutes. By comparison Alton Towers feels like your a piece of meat merely being pushed around the park.. queue after queue after queue. Rides are too spaced apart and the place is simply run down. They have sharp spikes in visitors when they dump a new ride like Wickerman, however, Paulton's Park for about 6 million less managed to build the whole dinosaur themed area, which has two excellent coasters. You really do need smaller rides to help break up the day and the other major theme parks are simply lacking that. Paulton's Park is in an excellent location in terms of access and they simply to have a good amount of land left to expand on. I know they likely won't as there are many places to stay nearby, but I would like to see them build a hotel in the near future.

I was here the other day and I made my niece a coaster enthusiast. It was my first time at the park for almost 15 years and I can't get over how much it's changed. By far and away the best park in the UK despite not having any big thrill rides. Can't wait for Tornado Springs.

Also! If anyone likes ice cream, I IMPLORE YOU to visit Carlos Ices & Teas room just 5 minutes away from the park. Its set in a quiet little area, plenty of parking and literally the best value ice cream I have ever seen (its like £1.00 for a scoop and each scoop is an increment of 20p!) 1/2 litre tub £2.60 - we always buy some to take home!

My favorite park in the U.K.! Real smart investment and sticking to what they do best (Family attractions) You don't see them trying to get a slice of every market like maybe Thorpe has tried to do in recent years. What i love most and we keep my family going back is the slight thrill rides going in, The Pendulum ride is a fantastic edition and just just enough to encourage the teens to the Park. All in all a fantastic and exciting development from the park to really watch, Just a GCI and a permanent water/Dark ride away from nailing it.

Kinda bummed out Cyclonator isn't going to be one of the new Intamin Gyro Swings with lapbars. That aside, this (Tornado Springs) is going to be a wonderful addition.

Bit too pricey for them I'd imagine and also a bit too thrilling for a family park too I'd bet. Probably a wise choice to go with Zamperla because they are adding lots of other stuff too.

Paulton's should have more rides for adults. I know it's technically a family park but introducing more bigger rides could make them a good and worthy competitor against the Merlin parks, BPB and Flamingo Land
