He gained a piece of immortality. Sometimes when I listen to music from the 1930's or 40's I wonder if the artists from back then imagined someone would be enjoying their music so far down the road. I know that some kid in the 2090's is going to listen to his music and think "Wow those old people listened to some great stuff!" RIP Pauly, to this day you're the only Kiwi musician I know by name

this story makes it sound like he died from partying too hard. he had a terrible neurodegenerative disease similar to MS. He died from that.
