Well, it was the 4C LoveCrayons list that I noticed that made me want to give this a try. Basking Rootwalla seemed a bit too ambitious but the Snackers looked reasonable.

I having been playing around with a Boros Bully version that leans harder into the gates gameplan. While I like Battle screech + Rally as a go-wide plan, I think is fundamentally in tension with the gates idea of recursive and hard-to-kill creatures. I think that these are fundamentally two different decks, and each would be stronger by leaning into their best qualities (either go-wide aggro, or something closer to Caw-Gates but in BW, a midrange gates list). I am running 10-12 discard-draw spells, alongside Sqaudron Hawk and 2 Guardian of the Guildpacts. It feels pretty sweet, would recommend exploring

It would be possible to bolt the rabbit in response to the lifegain trigger in order to avoid chumpblocking right (situation similar to 50:26)?

Yes, that is something that can be done. I could even do it after the lifegain trigger as I would still need to pass priority to combat damage, it just didn't stop there as I had passed through the turn. I just couldn't do it at that timestamp as I didn't have the mana available.

I thought someone else might reply to this, but I couldn't find a list anywhere. I play a decent amount of turns against the deck so you could probably figure out like 70% of what the decklist would be from the video.

Highway robbery is a much better top deck than discovery. Otherwise nice list 👍

I also think highway is better than discovery, discarding two cards seems too much to me and regarding lifegain is already covered in the list

I mean probably. As usual I just find a list tweak it a little and give it a spin. The drawing 3 cards deep was nice but sometimes it was hard to get to 2 cards I was happy to discard. Also losing the dream of discarding 2 Snacker to Thrill is a little sad, even though it will probably never happen.

@@Kirblinxy I would also second Highway Robbery, as well as Cathartic Reunion over Discovery, as Reunion can be cast turn two with a Basilisk Gate in play, and this deck is already quite hungry for specific mana pips. In my experience the 2 life is less impactful in this build.

@oskarprimbs2713 I know blue isn't around much these days, but if you have ever had a Cathartic Reunion countered you know you never want that to happen again. The fact that you can just throw a Discovery out there to see if it gets countered is pretty handy.
