Pauper League with INFECT. Is this deck still good in Pauper in 2024

Hello Friends, Today we played with a really old and fun deck, INFECT! We don't see this deck in PAUPER anymore, neither in MODERN. I believe it's only played in LEGACY.
One follower sent me a message to play with a UG infect deck. But, after thinking about it and talking with some friends, we decided mono-green is a better option, and I added Lotus Petal! I'm happy with the result. It's a deck that my friend CARVS thought was going to be 0-5 or 1-4, lol.

I see you are a “old” player in MTG also! U are right, the deck didn’t change that much! This week one guy did 5x0 with a similar list! I really have fun with it! But, I don’t think it’s competitive to play a challenge or a big tournament. Pauper is really strong now.

Pretty good results considering you were sticking to green only. It's been a long time since I played mono G, and recently I noticed that people online have had pretty good success with it in comparison to GB.

Unfortunately, with all the removals, green is the weakest monocolored option to play in pauper!

Hey friend If you splash it with blue, it will be really good! Using a single color may slow you down by one turn. But if one day I play with this deck again…I will try it

Hey brother, I don’t think infect is competitive deck in 2024! It’s fun, of course! In a infect pauper deck, I do prefer mono green. In general, black with splash to green is REALLY STRONG. Check the Golgari decks! One of the best in pauper. Next week I have a mono black pauper deck on the channel 😉
