This was fantastic fun to watch, even if it didn't work out perfectly. It's great to see something new and interesting being tried, not just resorting to sticking the scam package in it. Or, perhaps more accurately, running a scam deck with some sub-optimum cards, which is what so many "new" decks seem to be doing at the moment. The extended deck breakdown and analysis of the conclusion were wonderful, too. More of that, please. p.s. This deck might be outside your comfort zone, but I guarantee you that 90% of us couldn’t pick up a new deck and play it that well first time round. Mistakes are always easy to see in retrospect - I dread to think how many I would spot if I watched one of my games back on video. :-)

Recorded before I had access and the donor wanted me to play this list. I'll jam some Satouru soon, got my Daybreak all access account now, so never have to wait for access to new stuff again!

We discussed the card in Aluren Discord and it does almost nothing until Aluren is in play. Aluren is in a bad spot right now

​@@dannyfantastic I think that in your aluren discord you're wrong. There's a lot of action for Satoru in Aluren even in the pre-combo steps. And it's an upgrade with Harpy ti draw the deck without caring about Life total

Aluren need to be able to ramp better. Currently it is a bit to slow for the format. it is not good enough to combo off round 4 or 5 at best. where other decks does it round 2 or 3 at best

Nice video, i have been playing aluren on and off for years, it's not as its best atm, and i dont think satoru is going do help (it doesn't draw a card on its own unfortunately). I think you might have missed a win on R2G2 when you could have cast aluren and harpy the bowmasters 10 times, making a 10/10 token and then attacking :) (although we dont know 2 cards on oppo hand at that stage)

Ehh. You enter the dungeon to win.. boring and lazy from WOTC, I concede every time an opponent enters a dungeon. Aluren is a legacy pillar since it was printed, it’s sad that this is the ‘correct’ way to play it over the past couple years.
