Pause 4 Thought - 'You're Gonna Get All My Love [12'' Version]' (1990)

It's "the sound of a bright young Britain" once again, with another PWL production. Pause 4 Thought were a dance act fronted by MC Chime (Dean Roberts) and Exotic MC (Trudi Elkington), two baseball cap-wearing pop-rappers. Their only release was the piano-house single, 'You're Gonna Get All My Love', which is lyrically a debate between a boyfriend and girlfriend, who can't seem to decide if they want to stay out late clubbing or go home early. It was issued in March 1990, and was co-written by Roberts and Elkington, with the Harding/Curnow team (who also produce) and Bill Clift (Sonia, Lonnie Gordon, Hazell Dean). This is the 12" mix from the CD single, but with just two weeks on the UK singles chart, and a peak of #80, we never heard from them again.
