It's intresting you've mentioned it. I've never really thought about her dancing this way - I just saw something magical in it, could not quite explain what it was. But now I see. I can't name a single female dancer of today, either amateur or professional, who dances with quite the same timing and expressiveness. She is a real dancer. And her partner Pavel, I think he feels it too, for he's a dancer by nature as well, much more than just a sportsman.

@@Maria_Fomina yes, that is why she has so much time, and everything she does looks so effortless. On top of that she then has the time to add the artistic overlay. You can most easily see the relationship between dance and moving your weight, and where your balance, and so where you weight is exactly, when you watch ballet. And, I agree Polina is out on her own - ahead of all the others.

@@chamcham212 Oh well, I doubt she replicates her arm movements in the precise same part of any routine. I have only recently been looking at latin after many, many, decades, and so cannot claim familiarity with that many dancers. That said Anna Melnikova is the only other one I have seen at the same level as Polina. The standard of the ladies today is astonishingly good, especially those from Russia, the Baltic countries, Ukraine, and Slovenia. Must be something in the water. The same applies to ballet.

Yes, this is a dancesport samba, obviously, a sport discipline, the title is not trying to match the brasilian folclor music type, genius :D ... I give you a hint, the difference between brasilian samba and dance sport samba is that brasilian samba is shaking ass with feathers you learns in 2 hours while dancesport is a future olympic sport where you spent thousands of hours training a couple dance, its not that hard to see the difference.
