That's not how plastic recycling works, you are being deceptive. First off you cannot mix different types of plastic, recyclable and non recyclable, trash bags, HDPE, I think I saw some expanded polystyrene in there, and I'm positive I saw some corn based Plastics in there. most importantly once plastic has been exposed to Too Much UV radiation i e from floating in the river or an ocean exposed to sunlight, it will not recycle. what you are obviously doing is purchasing shredded HDPE and converting it into Paving tiles. most likely what you're purchasing is rejects from a plastic factory that have not even been put into production yet. Your shred, to me, looks suspiciously like shredded milk jugs. Not one tide container or corn-based food container, or plastic trash bag in the bunch. They're definitely aren't even any mixed colors in there. What you're doing is a con. I wouldn't be so angry except for somebody share this video with me and suggested that I build them a plastic recycling system to recycle ocean trash. I told them this was impossible and they showed me your video. Your stupid video is promoting ignorance around the world. Please take this video down, Or I will expose your con to the world.

You read my thoughts, lol! When watching this video, exactly West Africa came to my mind, where they burn plastic waste in some countries in order to get the reliable pavement products. The result is good, but the process looks quite harmful to the workers involved. And I also thought about Nigeria, which doesn't use any sort of such technologies yet. I really wish the author of this video could share his experience with his African fellows.

concrete is already heating the planet covering big areas (roads) in the cities around the world. forbidding the planet to breathe !! it is understandable that plastic can help heat homes in Russia in winter but to consider it on a massive scale for roads and large projects will increase natural disasters !! earth breathes !! even sand even clay !! when the sun hits .. the excess water evaporates and the planet breathe. The plastic is not a bad idea but for a road or road side. the molds should have holes in them !!

Ok, but what about life expectancy of such tiles? And I am not even asking about the garden ones, but the ones on the roof. We all know that plastic degrades because of UV-rays so how many years it takes until they "oxidise" and lose their initial properties? Polipropylene flower pots are useless after 2 seasons of direct sunlight. Eventually they break.

I've got my own small stone crusher which produce sands and stone mill, if the machine is not too pricey I believe I can do the same thing. Plastic waste is the huge problem in my country. How can I get the details of this project Sir?

You need praise for your work. It is obvious you are working on a very tight budget. However you need to give attention to details. You need to have a layout that is as good as a show piece. Use the very plastic tiles of attractive colours for the floors as well as the walls. Do a design or plan of the factory. Start with delivery area for the raw material then the extruder followed by press etc. Your vision to spread the technology to all the parts of the world is commendable. Precisely for this reason build a system that you can export to the world at an economical price. Please do not feel offended. You have a grand idea that is meritorious. God bless you.

honestly this is just a poor excuse to hide the actual problem and give the packaging industry green light in keeping on doing what they do to: destroying this planet let me wrap this up... instead of solving the plastic waste problem, they want to press it into roofshingles and stuff, so the world gets paved in plastic instead of concrete... well the nature is stronger than concrete and can break it up easy, but whats with plastic? just needs a nature catastrophy to spread the plastic waste once more over the landscape. in my opinion its nothing but taking trash and putting it from place a to place b, but the amount of trash stays and steady increases with every new plastic package that gets produced

I like the video, I would like to undertake something like this, but I have doubts. do you not need to wash or rinse the plastic material? If the material is not clean, does the inside of the extruder get very dirty?

You know I really want to do this but I see no further use for the processed plastic. I get plastic is a resource and worth a lot, I might get into recycling and forming either filament or something which can be processed into another item.
