sir, i dont know if this is appropriate to ask you here, but here you go.. in rk bansal book, there are 2 different velocity diagrams for pelton wheel problems, the direction of v2 changes, can you explain why? is it because of the friction on the vanes?

Sir solid body per each point se measure kre to thickness will be different. So sir does it meant that we have to measure the thickness from the highest point on the solid body to the boundary layer.
