It´s so sad to see how unlucky and underrated they were in the grunge era, whereas ´´artists´´ with no talent at all are getting rich nowadays

The album Dragline has some sort of emotional charm to it that I don’t think any other grunge band has done for me. Not even Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, no one. This band is a different breed of that sweet 90s rock and in the best way possible.

PAW was one of the greatest rock bands I've ever seen. They reinvented a stagnant wheel by adding heart to an over saturated genre. I was a tour manager for years - I remember meeting Grant at the Bottleneck in Lawrence , KS. Probably the last time I was tongue tied around an artist . Save The Last Bullet For Yourself.

I remember when MTV played Jesse the first time, I sat there trying to figure out what genre they were, and within a short time I figured they were southern grunge/metal/rock, haha!

Another good music video by Paw. I’m really sorry that they didn’t make more music videos like this. Such a shame they didn’t record more albums. They really rock.

Such a great band and album. The outro of this song is pure art…

It's actually about the drummer Peter, almost getting killed when he was young, from Grant's (guitarist & Pete's brother) perspective. The story I read somewhere was that he started playing drums as therapy to recover from the accident.

These guys are a huge inspiration on me and my band. We are from Kansas as well. We love these guys and other unappreciated bands like Tad, Mudhoney, Gruntruck, and all that other good polluted 90's music. Check us out. We're called Roughstump and we would like it if you would check out our video of us playing at the Granada. It is a little rough but we've only been playing for about a year or so.

I saw Paw play in Bloomington, Indiana sometime in the early 90's. They headlined at the local Bar/nightclub "Jakes". Not very many people were there because they weren't well known in the area but they gave a great show. I got to be right up by the stage and noticed Mark was taking frequent hits off a 5th of Jack Daniels. During the last songs final instrumental section he was semi-staggering around and started spraying what looked like lighter fluid all over the stage and lit it on fire. He lit his pants on fire in the process but was too drunk to realize it. Grant was chasing him around and trying to put the fire out with his head stock while still playing. During all this the band was trucking like a runaway freight train. All I could think at the time was THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL!

I've been checking out grunge bands that weren't big. Hammerbox was a pleasant surprise. This... not so much. This is the second song I've tried from them, and it has the same problem the last one did. Do all the songs just have him rambling on words during the verses?
