Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf KZbin channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

Man, this channel is exactly how I was able to get my first full golf set ( abit mismatch but none the less...) for $30... Goodwill supplied all my irons, wedges, putter, and even a nice black generic golf bag. Got my driver, hybrid, and Wood at a garage sale. Now, I no longer need to borrow other peoples clubs or rent clubs to play.

I always get a kick out of your videos. But this one compelled me to comment. I lived through the Western NY Blizzard of ‘77. I was a sophomore in high school and schools were closed for two weeks. It wasn’t so bad. And when I graduated from college, I moved to Houston and got to watch Nolan Ryan pitch with the Astros. ( I love that clip of Robin Ventura charging 46 year old Nolan Ryan without a clue of what he has getting himself into). You two always bring a smile to my face. Thanks!

@@StackedGolf Crazy it was, the Buffalo Bills put out a HELP call to snowmobilers to pick up their players so they could get on a Charter and get the Hell out of Dodge for their upcoming game. First time I ever just laid in bed for a week, it seemed like. CB radio was big then had one in my bedroom, so could keep up with all the happenings. For a kid, was like Christmas came early. Outside was crazy bad.

I think the thrill of the find is a good feeling to have. I'm exactly the same. I go into shops hoping to find an absolute gem but luck hasn't been on my side. But one day I'll strike it lucky. I'm glad you manage to find some cracking finds.

The first video that you did where you compared the Nitro balls to your Srixon changed my mind on Nitro's. I used to use Wilson Ultra but after the comparison and the difference in price, I have used the Nitro's ever since and I am very happy. My 12 handicap has remained but I am happier and have more money in my pocket for my golf budget!

Always enjoy your pawn shop visits! They give me some ideas for making some extra money on EBay. I usually hit Pawn Shops and Goodwill for inexpensive watches, like Invicta, Bulova, Casio, some of the Timex digital watches...put new batteries in them and try to double my money! May have to try some Pawn Shops and see if I can get Flo from Progressive Insurance to help me do some bundling!!! 😂😂

I used to have the precursors to the KZG Zero Offset blades. They were Bullet .444 from Roger Dunn, a regional; golf shop chain on the west coast. They were his staff irons. Dunn sold the Bullet brand name and released his use of the heads in 1994. KZG was brand new and jumped on them. The only difference from my heads and the ZO heads was the stamping. They were made by Kyoei Golf in Japan. The guy who started Kyoei was married to one of the Miura daughters and so worked at Miura until he split off and formed Kyoei. There was bad blood between the Miuras and the him because of that. Good clubs though. They had a very low center of gravity compared to most blades which made them much easier to hit than most.

The cobra xl baffler irons are pretty good. I bought my youngest daughter a set, brand new from Dallas Golf last year and they are forgiving. I wish I had a set in regular flex.

I was looking for a putter and happened upon a putter I used to own called “Odyssey black series tour design”. They are asking crazy money for these. More than when they were new. Check it out, and if you find one, do not pass it up. But I think the market will not be able to sustain these prices because I’ve never seen so many for sale.

White Hot no7 stirs my juices... that's the putter that convinced me a Mallet was the future... My favourite Forged irons? Vega make very special irons, very special indeed. Imho they are better than the KZG Javanese Forged irons, but not by much. KZG no longer forge in Japan and it shows.
