It sucks he gets to use the excuse “I have to pay to get it graded and capsulated” “I have to buy a frame and an expressive piece of glass” but really he could get a cheap frame which is fine, no one buys the item for the frame it’s in, or the plastic is comes in. The grading I can understand. And it takes awhile. But selling to rick does have its benefits. It’s quick and easy. Selling it at an auctioneer you have to pay a hefty fee. And it might not sell for what you want it for. I’ve seen two identical coins on here for sale. You visually couldn’t tell the difference at all. One was $48,000 and the other was $70,000. The difference was one said “cleaned” on it. And rick said the buyer he has lined up wouldn’t even touch it. I think that shit is bullshit. I really could give a fuck about it being cleaned or the condition. I’m just thankful I have something that is that old and it still surviving.

It might help get a quick sell but if you're in just 1 state then you have the problem of how many of those people are actually in your area, are willing to pay for it and in how long it will sell and of course a million different costs. Frank Castle some of it is indeed fake, not all of it though. For example, the shop that they film in is different from the actual store location and the reason it seems scripted is because Rick already knows what the person is bringing in so he's got a chance to research a little information on it. Look it up to find out more if you want. Rick has actually talked about the subject. Lol so before you kick the whole thing to the curb at least get the whole details on it. :D

It is scripted to a degree. Some of the items that come in are really sold to the shop by customers. Other (extremely rare) items are fake sold to them. An example is an extremely rare guitar. Cow Town Guitars will loan the guitar to the shop and they will have an actor play a customer and "sale" the guitar to the shop. After filming is done, the guitar is returned to Cow Town Guitars. When it comes to keeping ratings up so that the show isn't cancelled, they have no problem faking transactions to keep the show interesting. This show keeps his business booming.

Here let me show you an example of items while I express my hatred towards the Spaniards and Austrians. The penacho of mocktezuma which is made of many different precious stones and bird feathers is invaluable just worth too much cash, the golden transport of the last king of new Spain (Mexico) was offered to the Spaniards in exchange for the penacho But they said no. Why? The transportation is made out of gold and the penacho Is Made of feathers. Well one is connected to the last king of new Spain and the other is connected to Mocktezuma that's the difference the connections not the age or materials. For example the suit of George Washington is worth around 1 million dollars and it's made of cloth lol
