Hi CFI here. He definitely has a point the cost for getting just a private license alone is around 9,000 to 10,000 dollars. To enter the airlines you’re looking at at least another six figures. The training is relatively short compared to other careers but it takes time to get into the higher pay. Seniority is everything in aviation so you must stick with it to build that seniority and better routing, scheduling. That being said Rick definitely should’ve bought this for 145!

2:48 This guy is high speed, saw him at Fleet Week in San Francisco back in 2005, first and last time at a Fleet Week too, came home from Iraq for R & R only to find out my dad was dying from Cancer, he was able to leave the hospital for a few days, he was an active guy too, but had to rent a scooter for him to get around, he was so weak he couldn't even finish the ship tour, that was October 8th, on November 17th he was gone. Miss you Dad.

"I wonder whats its like to just hop into any plane you see and be able to fly it" He didn't just hop in, he inspected the plane then checked the log books. Imagine having to ask for oil change receipts before jumping in your buddy's car!

This isn't a WW2 fighter. It's a WW2 trainer. Only 40 hours are required for private pilots license. 250 hours is for commercial pilots license certificate. Legally you can't jump into any aircraft and fly it. Legally they couldn't have done aerobatics as I didn't see parachutes on them. 145k is a great price.
Increíble final 😱
