For what it's worth, here's a bit of an update: The episode appears to have been filmed in 2016, it was eventually authenticated and put up for auction in 2019 (unknown if by the same owner here). It did sell for just shy of $23,000. The same year, another album with just 3 signatures on the back and 2 on the front (but with some extra character thanks to Robert Plant's comments) sold for over $32,000. So his pricing wasn't really out of the real of reality and it might be fair to say the appraiser may have undervalued it here. The fact still remains that it seems the majority of these fully signed albums don't have all the signatures on the same side.... and the ones that do seem to have probably found long term places in various collections. So while not perfect, it's what was available... and that drives up the price. Some speculation: Even if the appraiser had valued it at $20K, Rick likely would have only offered $10K noting that it was a particular item that needed to be authenticated, graded, mounted, and prepared for auction. He probably wouldn't have gone over $13K and I don't see this guy accepting that offer... ultimately walking away.

@@macmac9443 doesn't surprise me, it was seen on KZbin 3.3million times then it was on TV with X amount of viewers, and on top of all that it is still a Led zeppelin. The point im making is if you are so confident in selling it for a ton of money the first place you go isn't a pawnshop. Your wasting their time because you know their gonna low ball you, and won't come close to the retail price.

He may not have been hostile but he was def not totally in the right. There are a lot of factors when dealing with autographed things. Stuff like not having all the autographs on the same side of the album will devalue the item somewhat. Just like in the sports card world how the item was signed does factor in for the value. LIke on card vs. Sticker where the person signed and so forth. Having an item like that with the main signature not with the rest of the band and making it even harder to display hurts the value.
