Blessings Psalms 37:5-6 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday./inspiration+There are no orphans in God’s house. There are no "step-kids." All of us who are led by His spirit are His rightful children. He chose us and He loves us. We are equal in His eyes. God does not have a favorite kid. We are all His favorites. He desires to shower us all with His blessings and He desires us all to be obedient. He loves us equally and disciplines us equally. We are part of one big blended family. /prayer+ Lord, I am so happy to be a child of the King ABBA. You chose me to call yours. You grafted me into Your family and gave me a place to call my own. I am surrounded by Your love and the love of every other believer who is led by Your spirit. In Your family, I will never be orphaned. I will never be alone. Amen.

Rarity does not always assure a high value.....as in this case. A full, professional restoration will cost far more than the car is worth. Check the results of Barrett-Jackson auctions, where far rarer, more desirable cars than this one, with $150,000 restorations sell for less than $100K.

I keep telling people, when Rick would have paid more for something than they agree to, he says "sweet". This time you might notice he didn't. He really wouldn't have gone higher. If the engine is salvageable, a car like that all restored might go at auction for $25,000. But that piece of scrap metal (I love Packards, but that is in ROUGH shape) would need at least $10,000 for parts and God only knows how much in labor. But Rick's right. A gearhead-historian looking for a project might pay $5,000 for it.
