It's called a banjo clock in the trade, Rick, but originally was referred to as a Willard's improved patent timepiece. I've been fortunate to get my hands on a few nice Boston Willard school examples from around 1820 with pristine original eglomise glasses.

I saw. a similar clock on antique roadshow with a 3-4k estimate, but an estimate is simply an appraisal. The real value is what one is willing to pay for it. Most pawn shops low ball you, because in most cases people take something in when they need cash.

That's an ignorant statement bud. Out of all the rare items out there, ranging back hundreds of years, of course there are varying degrees of uniqueness. While "unique" generally means one of a kind, it is also listed as meaning "the quality of being particularly remarkable, special, or unusual".

Unique does literally mean one of a kind. It's only because it has been incorrectly used so often that a secondary definition came about, indeed meaning unusual.

Just because something says “Tiffany” doesn’t really mean anything - Tiffany put their name on everything from writing paper to every silver item ever made - Unless it is signed Louis Comfort Tiffany on a piece of stained glass that checks out to be real, you probably have one of a trillion over priced medium value items. Buy a local artisans works instead of today’s Tiffany crap.
