That was easily the most dramatic reaction I've ever seen on the show to bad info. IDK how I haven't seen that clip in any of the "angry seller" compilations on this channel yet. I feel bad for him, but at the same time, there have been MANY sellers that lost more than that who didn't have anywhere near as bad of a reaction. I think it's his wife that made him mad. She probably called him stupid or something for buying it (even though I doubt she knew it was fake) and the humiliation from knowing he's gonna have to break the news to her combined with a pretty big financial hit is just pushing him over the edge. Crazy.

Most probably do but you don't want to start out to low. Most people want to hear the offer of the pawnshop first before they name a price. If you wan't 10.000 you shouldn't start at 10.500.
@kyaaaaan4 жыл бұрын
i would assume its just in case they can still get their asking price, for example if their asking price is 1,000 and the expert says its around 800-1000 even though they probably couldnt get their asking price they might as well try just to see.
@elliott85964 жыл бұрын
Why do you not understand that when negotiating, you should start high, they'll start low, and you meet in the middle? Although I do agree. Some people come into a pawn shop expecting to get retail price.

One thing I've always wondered about: Why do Americans even sell their antique furniture, books, paintings and whatnot to a PAWN SHOP? Back here in Europe pawn shops are for those who are basically bankrupt and you usually pawn your jewellery, power tools and such, with the intention of reclaiming them later. If you seriously want to sell/buy antiques, there are a antique shops, antiquarian bookshops and antiques auctions that specialize in that stuff.
