That's okay with lower value items because you are losing a smaller amount of money for the convenience. Selling a $100,000 item in the pawn shop means you will lose maybe $20,000 compared to auction to get your money quicker.

The entire point of a pawn shop is to make sure they screw people over for the biggest amount they can, so they can make around 300% on EVERYTHING that comes through the door.

Most pawn shops won't take anything unless they can make at LEAST 300% on the item. Like that 3 trigger? The barrel ALONE was worth around $7,500-$10,000 being REAL Damascus steel, not "pattern steel"

I fell like a third trigger on a double barrel is a bad idea because you could go to reload and have a negligent discharge being you have 2 triggers in the same trigger guard, or the opposite your going to take a shot at a bird and accidentally eject your shells on the ground. Neither is optimal but I guess you would have to hold and handle one to see if it was practical, but i have a feeling it was due to safety concerns
