Nice! Tip: Vaseline applied to the sidewalls of your trailer tires once a year prevents them from drying out and cracking!

I tell you what. I've had my pontoon for 16 years. And would spray wd40 every spring on the pedestals. Now being a retired machinist i borrowed a tube of extreme pressure grease that we put on the arbors. Works great 👍! I would think petroleum jelly has a high moisture content. So you may be exasperating the rust problem. But I enjoyed the video 📹 ☺.

The green water proof grease that is used in the boat trailer wheels is very water proof. Because the wheels/bearing go under water. THUS better due to water splashing on the seat from all those 5 lb bass you catch. 😆😅🤣😉 BUT serious you need to also do preventive maintenance on the wheels that go into the water. 👍

i use full synthetic bearing grease water proof, its not doing it cheap but its the best i found and when you grease your truck with it you will see
