Use your Easel created files in another software like VCarve Pro

Once you zip the file to local drive, you can use the extracted Design.svg file directly in InkScape to make any individual edits (can't make individual edits in Easel) them import into your favourite CAD/CAM app to create toolpath.NC files

I have lost a bunch of files, and you know what really chaps my behind is “your project is out of date, make a copy now.” Then when it “makes a copy” it only copies a few and deletes the rest.

Thank you very much. KZbin looks at "likes" and time watched also. When I quit asking in the video, the rating just dropped. I can see it in the graph almost immediately. It also takes longer to get it back.

Awesome thank you! I know it is possible. I feel strange asking, however, when I asked in the videos it made a big difference and when I stopped I could see the difference almost immediately. I know it is very realistic to reach 100k by 2-20-21. I need everyone's help. Again, thank you very much.

I don't care for Easel at all. I use UGS universal g-code sender. I have the same machine as you. Easel is not free for a lot of things that UGS already does for free and is more stable, And you don't have to have an internet connection to use it. I love your videos and thanks for sharing!

Everything you said is correct. Many people are concerned about their files being on Easel only. What happens if they lose Pro version, no VCarve unless they pay. I am showing those Easel users how to protect their work and continue to use their files after Pro expires and they chose not to renew.

Correct, I use VCarve Pro to design and create the g code.

Awsome info. All iv been doing is just saving the g codes as I need them. Thought I lost them all last night as I forgot where the computer saves them and couldn't find them when I tried to use my ugs. Talk about panic lol. Hope you get ur 100k. That's by b day. Thank you very much. I am glad you did not lose your files. I don't think I am going to make the 100k by Feb 20. That will be my three year anniversary on being on KZbin. I think it will be more like April. The numbers have dropped a lot over the past month.

Just export the project as gcode, then load it into your sender.

What is the technique for opening a file in Easel say a flag, add designs (military branch) to it but not change the original flag design so you can use the basic flag for other projects?

Simply add a another workpiece and put the flag on the new workpiece add whatever you wish. The original workpiece is untouched.

I did not know about that one. I have tried others but none so far are compatible with imovies. I edit all my videos in imovies on my Ipad. Thank you very much.

I upload all the video from the camera to the ipad and use imovies to edit. Voice over is easy, just hit the microphone button and then record.

Shame Easel doesn't let you name each work area within a project file, then compress each file to a specific name rather than compressing them all as DESIGN.SVG within a zip file
