I’m glad you opted to have fully female groups of both wildebeest-I don’t know if Planet Zoo takes this into account, but the two different subspecies have been known to cross breed.

I think you should finish up the Oceania/Australia Section with the Koala and Common Wombat. As they are the only two Grassland Oceania Animals that haven’t been added. Edit: I can’t believe I forgot the Dingo. Edit 2: I swear it said Koalas live in the Grassland in Planet Zoo. But apparently they don’t, temperate I understand, tropical maybe but Grassland? I swore they lived out in like places like Medowie and inland queensland what is up with the biomes in this game? Edit 3: But then they have Interspecies enrichment with the Red Kangaroo which is endemic to Desert and Grassland so you can’t even have them in the same habitat in career or franchise mode because the plant requirements are different. I don’t think Frontier thought this through.

I also think you'll be surprised how much you can add, seeing as it's such a big habitat. I'm from South Africa, and these animals love laying under trees, especially when it gets so hot. The shelters will help, but the shade of a tree will have a bigger effect on cooling

how are you doing a sfari habitat without zebra, giraffe & ostrich???
@Reptile_Gecko2 ай бұрын
Maybe the Zebra's would cause some problems? They can be quite mean, tho idk how that transfers to the game. As in real life I've never seen zoos mix those animals with Wildebeest or rhinos, I've only seen the likes of literally what you mentioned, zebras, giraffes and ostriches living together, then the rhinos were separate (at the time I went it to Fota Wildlife Park was the male by himself and the mother and calf together).

When you were moving the animals so they'd be closer to a mate, I remembered one of the things I thought was slightly less. Herd animals never move as a herd. Aside from their instinct keeping them moving as a group, in the wild the male of the group will often actively get the females moving as a group. Mostly because he doesn't want one to wander off looking for a different mate. I get they had to limit the number of actions and interactions for the ai, but herd animals not herding is pretty weird.

I would suggest getting a male wildebeest, let them have babies to increase numbers, then get a new male and put all the other males in the herd on contraceptives.
