Pax Dei How to SEE Items Easier, Best Settings, Remove Grass, Increase FPS Guide, Optimal Graphics

This is a guide for Pax Dei to change your settings by altering your game files so you can have a huge advantage over other players allowing you to see gatherable items much easier. This removes a lot of the useless foliage and grass allowing you to actually see the bottom of the forest floor which is rich in different types of herbs and mushrooms that you'll need for cooking and alchemy. By using these custom settings not found within the games options you'll also have a huge frame rate boost giving you an advantage in PvP as well. I show you where to navigate to find the gameusersettings.ini file and what to add to do it to be able to have this in-game advantage and optimal graphics for a smoother game.

Is this considered cheating? Will you get banned? **The answer is no.** All Unreal Engine games allow you to alter these graphical settings. It would be immoral for a game company to punish someone to alter their graphics settings especially if they are handicapped or color blind. I am personally legally blind so it's really hard to see foragable objects with the graphics cranked all the way up. When I do a yellow onion run in the nearby forest, instead of spending an hour getting a few stacks, it only takes me 10 minutes to get the same amount since I can now actually SEE them on the ground. Yes this does make the game uglier but it massively increases your efficiency.

This game makes my gpu run super hot but it shouldnt. I have a 3070 with 16g ram and I7 processor. What gives? Only with this game. How can i turn down my FPS to 60max? What settings should I use in the game options? Thanks man

how does this affect PVP? (or this games excuse for PVP) , can you hide in a bush in PVP or does your health bar or name stick out in the bush, if you can "hide" in a bush, does someone who has done this simply see you crouched in the open because they dont have the foliage showing?

People just mash the lock on button so you can't really hide at all.

Very very good job! Firstly, you are able to collect various types of plants at least twice as fast and secondly, you do not strain your eyes with a lot of textures! Thank You!!!
