Thanks again Pax41 for the great memories. I'm only 80 but have fond memories of my Grandmother (b. 1893) singin them to me when I was young. Great voice and great songs. It's amazing how each band had their own sound. Not like today and the lyrics really are understandable and make sense. Keep it up.

Nothing short of fabulous. In relation to today's music one could get hooked on this all day. These times were my mother and father's times; they were in their 20s during the 1920s, what more could one want?
@pax419 жыл бұрын
+Alan Hill This music was from my grandparents time. I have become bored with the popular music of today. The majority of it all sounds the same and lacks the originality of these classics. I am amazed at how different orchestras can take the same song and create something unique. It keeps me hunting for more versions of the same recording.
@alanhill99979 жыл бұрын
+pax41 Totally agree. The times of my parents, while in their 20s, what more could they want? Alan Hill
