Wondering why December Avenue are top-notch musicians? December Avenue consists of music graduates from the UST Conservatory of Music, namely, Zel Bautista on vocals and guitar, Jem Manuel on lead guitar, Don Gregorio on bass and Jet Danao on drums. They are like the great band Chicago whose members are mostly music degree holders. December Avenue is always worth listening. P.S. Their music has Worship Song vibes.

Jem Manuel cheap pedalboard setup. Ito lang yung naiisip kong magandang budget range ng pedalboard ni sir Jem Manuel. 5 digits yung price ng kada pedals nya sa rig nya, kaya naman mahirap makuha ito. Pero atleast merong alternative, dito highlighted ang Joyo at Caline dahil sila ang pinaka nakikita kong may magandang sound quality. Chain remains the same, minus the RJM Mastermind PBC/6x pedal switcher. Tuner: Joyo JF-19 Buffer Tuner Volume Pedal: Caline CP-31P Amp Sim: • Joyo JF-13 American - emulates Fender Amps. With a specific knob setting, it can emulate Blackface Fender amps ('65 Deluxe/Twin). It mirrors the Universal Audio Dream '65, which is the Deluxe Reverb modeller of Jem. • Joyo JF-14 AC Tone - emulates a Vox Amplifiers. With a specific knob setting, it can emulate the Vox AC-30 amplifier. It mirrors the Universal Audio Ruby, Jem's amp modeller for Vox AC-30. The Amp Sims are connected to JF-24 Orthros Selector in A/B mode, A for the Deluxe Reverb and B for AC-30. It is a bit difficult at first, but it still does the job. It's behavior will be similar to the RJM Mastermind PBC/6x switcher, the only difference is it requires only 1 footswitch while Mastermind requires 2 as shown in the video. Drives: • Joyo JF-36 Sweet Baby - A Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive clone, mentioned by Jem as one of his overdrives. • Joyo JF-01 Vintage Overdrive - A TS9/TS808 Clone, which is the inspiration for the Origin Effects Halcyon Green Overdrive, another overdrive mentioned by Jem and also the current pedal in the video. • DemonFx Freedman BE-ODX - A ₱3,400 pedal cloned from Friedman BE-OD Deluxe. DemonFx is known to produce clone pedals that sound the same as the original, most notable the Vemuram Jan Ray. If you want a 1:1 drive from Jem's pedalboard, this is a good choice. Octave: • Joyo R-13 XVI Octave - A pedal featured by Jem in his channel. Obviously, hindi sya budget kasi ang presyo nya ay ₱3,700. But this is a great pedal, as Electro-Harmonix POG 2 costs ₱22,600. It has good sounding quality, and Jem described the pedal as "an effect that has a unique character". Modulation: • Joyo R-09 Vision - As all R-Series of Joyo Pedals, this is not super cheap, costing about ₱3,700. As Jem owns a Strymon Mobius, and is also shown in the video, I thought of adding this pedal. Though, I don't know how Jem uses a modulation pedal as he stated that he doesn't use his Mobius because of the Meris LVX. Delay: • Joyo R-07 Aquarius - Price is about ₱3,700. The effects are similar to Strymon Timeline, Boss DD-500, which is seen on Jem's video about his setting on Huling Sandali, and maybe the Meris LVX? Though, most likely you'll receive a unit which mutes your guitar for a millisecond when turning the pedal on, based on my experience. • Joyo D-Seed II - Price is close to Aquarius (₱3,500). The effects are also the same as the mentioned delay pedals. Another great choice. Reverb: • Joyo R-14 Atmosphere - A pedal also featured by Jem in his channel, it's effects are similar to Strymon Big Sky, which makes this a good choice. Bakit wala yung Pedal Switchers? - Masyadong mahal ang Pedal Switchers. Pwede ka bumili ng Joyo JF-24 Orthros Selector, pero tatlong piraso ang kailangan mo, at masyado malaki ang sakop nya sa board (kasing laki sya ng Joyo American). If may pedal suggestions kayo, reply lang! I also checked Mooer, magandang brand din yun, but currently mas gusto ko yung Joyo at Caline kasi yung enclosure nila is malaki compared sa Mooer na mini. Ayun lang, salamat!

Honestly siguro mas ok kumuha ng isang multi and isang drive pedal if budget talaga gusto mo. Sa isang multi pwede mo na makuha yung Fender and Vox Amp sims, octave pedals,delay, reverb, modulations like chorus, and many more. Kahit yung mga tig 5k na multi kaya na to e, like zoom ms50g, or yung black box ng mvave, tank G ng mvave. Kung ako magbbuild ng alterrnative board pwede na siguro yung isang multi and isang analog drive na mid crunch. Optional siguro yung isang delay pedal. Kaya to mabuo within 5-7k

@@markapostol7245 Actually, I already took note of that before planning my version, kasi meron akong ms50g and unang analog pedal ko yon(not counted si cube baby), maganda yan pero dsp ang problema, at tsaka pag magsswitch ka ng effect if iisang patch lang ang "board", masisira ang side buttons kakapindot. Yung sa akin, kailangan diinan para makalipat, pero babalik din naman ito sa dati, i guess dahil 4 hours lagi yung pagplay ko. Anyways, depending sa player ito, pero kung gusto mo talaga mareplicate yung sounds ni Sir Jem, maganda ang analog approach kasi in my opinion, mas maganda ang sound quality ng analog kaysa sa multi, which is dsp. Cons ng Analog approach is power supply, chain, cables, board size, prices, etc...pero worth it. Kapag multi effects/multi stomp naman, madali lang ibuild, pero ang isa sa biggest downside is dsp problems. Kung tonechain style naman like cube baby, masyadong limited para sa akin. In the end, this is my approach and what i think is best for me, but thank you for your suggestion bro🙏
