Trump can't afford him. Also impeachment is a political trial. A judge in a criminal trial would have cut him down to size already. He's combative, condescending, consistently asks for speculation, tries to get the witness to confirm something they didn't say, or calls for hearsay etc. You don't antagonize witnesses in ordinary court.
