I really do not like these two. They are very judgmental and annoying! They are taking peoples misfortunes and profiting off of them. Then they try to justify their actions by claiming that people just chose not to pay their bills and lose their life's possessions. I hate that they go out of their way to expose the misfortunate by ALWAYS sharing their photos and personal affects. To me, they are the worst! They are not humanitarians by giving back the owner's personal items..that is required by the facilities /bidding rules.

That wooden item is a loom. My grandmother had one, but about 5’ across that she made carpets from. It’s for weaving strips of fabric together. And thanks for the videos!!!

I love watching you open all the totes and treasure boxes but we never know why someone has lost their storage units. Yes it is because they didn’t pay the bill on the unit. But you never know what circumstances lead up to them not being able to pay. It could be due to the death of a spouse. We never know. Bad luck can happen to anyone. We can tell this person that owned this unit was very talented. And was such a collector. Thanks for giving back the personal items. Good luck with your ventures. I’m glad Grandma Ventures has lots of yarn. I love how Ashley collects items for the children .

Wade, Never lose your style. I like the way you showcase, and then move on. The one thing I really like is that unlike all the others that do videos of storage auctions, you do not feel the need to pull out an Item an go on for ten minutes about it. When you talk about the benefits of buying storage lockers you do not sugar coat the reality, and in my book that makes you more worthy of watching. The Crogman.

@9:19 that purple onion is used in the fridge to hold a cut onion. Let’s say you only need half an onion for the meal, you put the other half in there for next use. It helps to keep the smell and I think it will also help with freshness. I’ve seen a tomato one and a green pepper one.

To the negative viewers I ask: Would you rather see all the abandoned storage go into the Landfill? The items are being recycled, Wade and others like him are earning a living, and at the auctions the items are bought and put to use. Also, many items are donated, and the personal effects go back to the family. It's a reality of the times we live in. 😉

I agree with holly m - the worth in stored items is quite significant. Resale you can probably get 40% to 50% for all those new unused items. The loom is worth a lot to home weavers! You must br fit to do this job. I am really stunned by the huge collections of "toys" , clothes , machines books etc. This is rediculous , as it is worth over 20 times what you paid for it.

@Mary J. Calhoun Look at what was in that unit. She had high end arts, antiques, clothes & shoes. Had she done an estate sale she would have had enough to pay her mortgage for years, What ever happened to personal responsibility? I guess everyone is a victim.

@sandysunset40505 жыл бұрын
@@madl555 Holly this was an older lady in her 60s at least. This unit was a lifetime accumulation of her mother's and family's belongings. People in their 60s were not brought up with computers, tablets, and cellphones. Even if she knew how to operate one, she would have to go to a library and wait her half an hour turn and know how to create accounts for ebay, etsy, worthpoint.com etc. She would have to take photos and have an address. She couldn't possibly handle all those boxes and run items to a post office that sold. She was homeless. Apparently she had no help. Her parents were dead. Why are you so judgemental and punishing to someone who apparently had sewing and looming etc. for her business? Who are we to judge the belongings of another? People today are much more transient. Years ago people lived in the family home for all their lives and hence the accumulation. I can't believe the callousness of people today and how they say well she learned her lesson! Do you or I think we are above learning lessons??? I am not.

She made costumes for herself and went to Anime events. There was a Kumoricon lanyard shown in the previous video. She must have spent a fortune going to those events and buying all that stuff. She mentioned the costumes in the letter she wrote, but didn't mention the folded US flag nor the cufflinks, tiepins, pocket watch and medal, that should have been of personal sentimental value (possibly her own fathers).

First, please let me say I like watching your show, you and your mom have a great relationship any one would love to have. I love her personality, and your laugh cracks me up😆. Tell your wife she's great too! She knows a lot about the stuff you get😁. And you guys have very precious children. But I have a little discrepancy ( just a little one) with the title you've chosen for this episode. I found it to be a little offensive and hurtful because I once had a storage unit that I paid on for quite a while but a situation arose that was out if my control financially and I couldn't afford to pay on it, and it was devistating to me to lose all of my memories of my children growing up and my parents who are not alive anymore. Everything gone. I had no way to get the stuff out of storage before they locked me out and then put it up for auction, and no way to pay it off. So I'm sure someone bought my unit and went through it and kept what they wanted and sold or threw the rest away. My life memories gone in one "sold"! shout moment. So when I saw your title " pay your bills, or this will happen" it took me back to that painful moment. It sounds like you feel like people just don't pay their bills so you don't have any remorse about them losing their life memories. It just came off heartless. If I could have paid my fee I would have, believe me. My nose was rubbed in it bad enough when I had to tell my children it was all gone. All I ask is that you take into consideration what people may have lost their units for, and why. Again thanks for your time, and keep up the good work on your business, but don't forget to stop n smell the roses, n create memories with your babies. You'll blink n they will be all grown🤗, don't miss it!.😁
