No, I was there around mid June. It was hot and sunny. I just asked the tour operators in town if there were snorkeling trips. Some told me 'No' but others told me there were trips to either Payar or Coral island. Basically they put snorkellers on the same boat as the scuba divers. It's a bit expensive as the boat travels for about an hour to get to the dive/snorkel sites. It wasn't the best snorkelling I've done, as in Thailand, as the water was a bit cloudy as you can see in my video, but I managed to capture the sharks and some fish and squid. I thought the coral looked mostly dead. I have been spoiled for better snorkeling in Thailand. Hope this helps. 😀
