Should you prepare your budget in advance? Simple answer = yes.
Coming up with a plan for your money before you get it ensures that you don't spend it carelessly. That means you have to have an estimate of the amount you think you might receive.
In this video, I show you the process that I use with my paycheck budget, to come up with a plan to pay for my expenses before I receive my paycheck.

When you said you already planned and saved a year ahead of time for Valentine's Day 2019. That just blew my mind. Saving $10 in each sinking fund category over the course of the next 11 months for next year would give future me so much peace of mind.

I watched this video 3 years ago when you uploaded and it helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! I’m refreshing my brain because I started over with a new job, city and living expenses, plus my income tax coming. It’s nice to see how how far I’ve come by using your strategies. Thank you so much for sharing and helping me!

This is so helpful! It will be trial and error for me but I grasp the idea now. My first time will be soon and I was overwhelmed about trying something new. This looks very effective to savings. Thank you for this! 👏🏾

I am going all in! Printed the workbook - here is where I am stuck. I have a husband that I share a joint checking and savings with, and he is a rogue agent. He says he is on board, but isn’t cooperating or taking initiative to sit down with me and/or track. So, I’m going it alone - but, with one ☝️ person who is throwing tomatoes at me. Metaphorically, kind of. :-) How do I do this, and account for all of his extra spending not in my envelopes? 🤯

Hello, I love your page and blog. I am learning so much from your videos. This April I will start my journey :) now the only thing is, I will have to do the paycheck budgeting. Does that mean that every month a have to purchase a new work sheet since they all have the month on the header ? Thank you

Thank you so much for this video! My husband gets paid weekly and I was always trying to figure out how to balance payments and expense evenly as possible so hopefully each paycheck will cover what needs to be paid each week it big chunk like mortgage needed little more planning ! .Love the highlighter idea to see more clear which paycheck will cover certain payments. One question though, last paycheck that covers next month’s bills ( before 5th in your case) I don’t track it as expensive until payment clears cause left over balance from previous month will be added as income to next month ?

I never comment on anything but I love this! ❤️ Do you have a recommendation on how to track two incomes.. my husband gets paid bimonthly and I biweekly and I feel confused as if I should keep two separate budget accounts or add them together but idk how to go about it 🙇🏽‍♀️

Thank you for your response.. Well we have not really talked about that it was just a mutual understanding that I would take care of the financing but I will sit down and talk to him about the tracking cuz it’s not something that I have done with either of our incomes really lol again thank you so much ❤️ plus now that I’m following you I feel I can get a handle on our budget!

I bought it Thursday and I didn't received the email, contacted you Friday and I still haven't received a response regarding my order.. I thought it was a printable and shouldn't take that long right? Please contact me..
