He knew everything about the finance guy and made a platform similar to the one he used in his recent video and that's where I put the money on and lost it all. It seems like a dumb scam, but truth be told before doing anything he was super nice and gave me actual tips and stuff, it just sucks that it ended this way.

Thank you for the tidbits of your thoughts throughout and the honesty there in. Being truthful seems to be the hardest thing for a lot people. I appreciate the random openness of wanting to cancel a routine or (- fill in the blank-) for whatever reason, then going through with your plan despite the want to just ... not. It can be hard to not give into those thoughts. For me ... A severe spine injury had me thinking about giving up daily. Two doctors and six therapists all parroted that I would need surgery, drugs and would still be disabled for the rest of my life. No one had f*cks to give. As a physical laborer and having just turned 40 yrs old, I felt ... done. Worst pain ever, worse than the pain of childbirth. However, the brain is a wild tool. No surgery, no drugs and went about finding my own way. 2 years after, could walk unassisted. Goal is to get strength back to eventually lift my own body weight again. Some of us, it is a battle to stay "on our feet". Thank you for sharing yours.

These days will be the best. I still keep in my mind the days of building work in mornings and bar work at night 4 times a week whilst doing university and masters; completely knackered and not much hope except for some small voice in my head telling me that was the only road and that things would get better. I'm a private banker now - waking up to get a workout in a private gym and steam room, meditating before putting on a nice suit - with no rush in the world. Most importantly, sending home money to family that made sacrifices even though they had no money at the time. But never forgetting the days of grinding hard - life changes faster than you think after years of application, I'm sure others experienced the same thing/parallel versions of our own success.
