Fun but useless & not-relevent Cloaker facts: - He is voiced by Simon Viklund, the composer of most of the game’s soundtrack - Cloakers used to have an idle sound that was just ear ringing, this was changed to a more subtle but still unique sound - There is an achievement for stopping a charging Cloaker with an electric melee - Cloakers always charge to knock you down EXCEPT in Holdout, where they will cuff any players, mimicking their behaviour in Payday: The Heist where Cloakers would cuff AI teammates on a successful charge - Cloakers in PDTH used to be able to run on walls - They have a unique version of the Compact-5 with a vertical grip not available to the player - According to the FBI Files, being a Cloaker is a highly sought after position even though there has been concerns about their use of police brutality - The festive Cloakers that appear on certain Xmas maps can be denoted by them wearing a Santa hat, and also the fact their charge sound is replaced by subtle jingling bells which ironically makes them even more dangerous

It should be noted that Counterstrike Ace can be used on reaction because if a Cloaker reaches you on a charge, he'll force you to look at him. During this short window, you can actually start charging your melee and knock him down.

For anyone starting, it is also worth knowing that when a cloaker charges a heister, he will start a beatdown animation, which makes them completely unable to move, meanwhile if they kick you, they won't perform the animation, so they can still move, and therefore charge or kick other heisters.

Not sure if this is a glitch or a hidden mechanic but sometimes I have seen the rare 'Double-Kick Cloaker' where after downing someone, a cloaker may not always continue to beat you meaning sometimes, when a player approaches to assist you when downed, the cloaker can almost immediately down them, meaning one cloaker can result in two downs.

Did you know that at Risk Level 3, OVERKILL never edited the FBI Files of the picture in preplanning? It still lists Cloakers as ‘Spooks’. Found it because I was bored.

If you really need to know. The last time I fought those guys a shotgun build worked wonders and the 2x headshot bonus is the built in weakness. I might have made it to Infamy 25 and played more than a few rounds of rats on DW back when that was the hardest setting. Never quite figured out One-down but General McBadass had some pretty exceptional builds.

Heavy impact aced plus an automatic weapon works wonders against cloakers. I like to run LMGs and I rarely ever get downed by them.

I dont know if it is the case or it was timing nearly everytime but I feel that the cloaker will try to get out of sight to flank if you are not in range and not focused on them. It happens quite a lot that I switched target from a cloaker to a dozer and while aiming for the dozer, the cloaker will sprint very fast out of sight to get to a flanking position or ambush one.

I had a cloaker bug out the other day and rapidly kick three people, including me. Hit me first, partner rounds the corner and the cloaked instantly whips around and kicks him instead of continuing to beat me like they usually do. One of the bag haulers comes around to pick us up and he basically did the same shit, but this time it was like ten seconds later so maybe it was technically off cooldown by then, but the first time it was maybe three seconds.

There's this mod called Zero downs which as the name implies allows you to never go down without going into custody and that includes being tased and kicked.

So, are there then any optimal tactics to make a cloaker consistently jumpkick? I have been trying to get some of the achievements related to that (like kill a jumpkicking cloaker with the gl40 grenade launcher). I thought the best heist for it had to be safehouse nightmare because of the insane cloaker spawn. But I am not sure what the tactic is. Played for like 30 minutes with 3 bots on the very hard difficulty with max armor (so that the dozers aren't a problem), but I did not manage to do it even once (though I thought I did and it didn't count probably because that was the charge and not the jumpkick when I killed him). The problem is obviously them hardly ever jumpkicking. Would love some tips for that since there is quite a lot of achievements related to cloaker jumpkick killing or cloaker killing in general.

In Watchdogs Day 1, Cloaker spawns are increased and have set spawns, causing it to spawn even on normal difficulty I believe. A jump kick occurs if there is an obstacle in between you and the Cloaker, the Cloaker will hurdle over the object to reach you. They are fast when doing this, so be careful. Watchdogs also has parked cars which can help you bait them to jump kick.

another easy method is play on four store on overkill, between electronic shop and market store you can drop tripmine on cloaker spawn like air vent or tunnel then stay indifferent location form him you should be able to force him to jump kicking you
