payday 1 had a grinding, mutated, sound to it. it sounded "criminal". intimidating, messy, violent. payday 2 had a few tracks that sounded criminal, but it lost some of the feel of the first. however, it had much MUCH better composition, the songs were songs, not just loops. my favorite? payday 2. just better put together. but if someone can remix a less repetitive version of gun metal grey i'll love you forever.

When I play PAYDAY 1 I feel like an actual criminal and the games just feels like it has more soul, more flare. But PAYDAY 2 has less of a nice feel to it and the grinding aspect sticks out a lot more.
