Great video. Have been following you since your car days, probably started watching during the pandemic. I applaud your choices and recognize ( I think) the huge level of challenges you have overcome. Pippa is a love and you take wonderful care of her. I absolutely love your lifestyle. After discovering you, I have found more content, but yours is the only one I follow. I have also researched all types of off grid mobile living arrangements. Learning from you, I would go for the simplest option with the least moving parts! I.E. the van most likely as I want to feel like I am driving a car and want a small foot print, physically. Given all that, at age 74 with a few health challenges, I doubt I will go for it. I just want to thank you for all the hard work you do and let you know how much I look forward to your videos. Xoxo and prayers as well.

Great words, showing it can be done and enjoy travel on the bare minimum such as the aged pension. In Australia I'm inspired by even the Pensioners who solely live in their Combi van or otherwise. One elderly guy in his Combi has a simple comfy bed in the back, listens to his car radio to drift to sleep - to turn the radio off he reaches across with his homemade gadget to turn the control off.

I'm glad you mentioned that credit card debt that gets written off, on their books, is viewed, by the IRS, as "income" and is taxable, as crazy as that seems.

Good for you and Pippa🎉🎉🎉 Credit cards and debt are horrible.
@lauravictorious46702 күн бұрын
@@Nwladylaura369 no, it's not really mentioned. Think of the promises to forgive student debt. They have a shock coming. It's not a "law" it's an IRS rule. Just as they treat bartering as "income." For instance, if someone needs a car repair and the person doing the repair accepts house cleaning in exchange for what the repair would cost, the IRS says that's to be reported as "income," as if you were paid for the car service even though no money was exchanged. Crazy. I found out about that when a local news story was done on a bartering club that found out the IRS rule. Of course, most people don't report it and why would they?

My dog and I got attacked at the park, and a nice lady stranger drove us to my ESTABLISHED vet that was nearby. This was an emergency situation, and I left my car and purse at the dog park; I was not concerned about anything but my dog….who was screaming non-stop. My vet evaluated her, gave her a shot, and said we needed to go to the emergency vet because she was in bad shape. Get this: They were not going to release her to me because I didn’t have my purse to pay their $200 fee. I had blood on my face from the obvious accident, was clearly in shock and shaking, and I was an established client in good standing. UNBELIEVABLE! She was critical, and they were wasting time. Fortunately, my friend immediately came to relieve the stranger who drove me, so she paid that bill and drove us to the ER. - My dog needed a major second surgery a week later, and the ER vet said it was policy to refer me back my original vet to do follow ups. Oh, hell no! Plus, I wanted the same doc because he knew her case. (Sounds like very shady politics by the neighborhood vets to demand this policy from the ERs.) Anyway, the ER vet agreed after I refused to take her back to my horrible, disgusting, greedy, heartless vet who was clearly fired. - FYI, it all ran about $5000, and that was 10 years ago. It was a very traumatic event, and I still have PTSD. Be very wary of dog parks or other dogs off-leash; a tough lesson learned by me.

They say hindsight is 20/20. I have slept in a cx5 seat in the USA doesn’t fold flat, but is doable. The Toyota motor home has been a dream of mine but it would need a $5000 engine and transmission plus all the suspension that needed to be done by Toyota. Overweight and under powered. Glory years during the national 55 mph speed limits or Route 66

People knowing where you live. No thank you. I have been living in a car since 2018 by choice and I absolutely love it .
@AngelEyes-xm7el2 күн бұрын
@ misunderstanding. I need to figure out an address. With real ID drivers license you can not have a post office box, nor for car insurance. The government has to have a brick and mortar address. They say the police have to know where you live. I call bullshit, big brother

@AngelEyes-xm7el I've heard you can get a po box and give that address to the office and your box # as a apartment # ... I heard this from reddit though. If it were me in that situation, I would just try to see if it works 😂 worst that could happen is they say no.
