This video made me cry. A month ago I left an almost identical scratch pulling out of a space because the person next to me parked crooked. I left a note, telling her I'd pay for it etc. and it has been a nightmare. She called the cops and they banged on my door hours later at 11 at night and pretty much told me I broke the law by note filing a police report then and there (by the way I left a note so I broke no laws), finally after a month I just got handed an $840 bill. This happened in the parking lot at my Christian University and has made me lose so much faith in humanity. This also happened on the 2 year anniversary of my dad's death. I am working 2 jobs to pay for this and truly want to cry all the time because I cannot believe the lack of compassion people have. This video showed me that there are amazing, kind, and wonderful examples of plain old human goodness in the world. Thanks Stuart :)

It's funny how people just say he;s doing it to make money. He does kind things, and with our views, he has more to give. I'm not sure if you noticed but his car wasn't all that. That girl that hit your car was so sweet and thoughtful... I admit, I can't say I would have done the same... but well done for being good, but even more well done for the girl. She was honest and took responsibility. I respect that very much. More people should be like her. Sadly my minor car accident didn't go down as smoothly. I saw my car get scratched in a car park, by a girl in an Opel Corsa. She tried to leave, but I stood in front of the car. I was very angry that she wanted to leave. She said that she tried to leave, cause this was her 5th accident this month and her parents were furious... She was rude too. Needless to say, since I was furious too, I made her call her parents, since she had no insurance details with her... Spoke with them and dropped my car off at the dealer the following week for repairs. The fix totaled at 800 Euro and her insurance paid nicely. Turns out they don't fix the scratch itself at the dealer, they sand and repaint the whole part... I would have been nice, if there was a note, or the girl didn't try to run away... But since she did, she got what she had coming.

big parking lots have cameras everywhere. always leave a note, or there is a chance you will be found and then in much much more trouble as hit and run is a criminal charge. granted, somehting so small as in this vid they might not even notice till later, then not even know when it happened. but if its something noticeable, they will go to the security office at the mall and ask to see footage and get your licence plate. honesty is the safest route for you, and the right thing to do.
