I’m 68, and I have had a passion for music all my life. For me music is about feelings, not so much about technique. Whether the music is simple or complicated I don’t care, so long as it moves me. For only one week ago I heard Buckethead (Soothsayer) for the first time, and I haven't been so overwhelmed since I was 16 and heard Hendrix for the first time. Now I have only listen to Buckethead the whole week, and it doesn't matter if he's the G.O.A.T. or not, his music is just everything I have search for my whole life. The fact that people like Buckethead exists makes me believe that there is a meaning with life, and that there must be a god somewhere.

Exactly this. No group or individual's music has ever had such an impact on my life. There are many greats that I hold in high regard.. Maiden, Pantera, Metallica etc etc.. many songs to fit my feelings at any given time... but the feelings and emotions that this guy invokes within myself are indescribable. He literally saved my life a couple of years back, and his music has opened my eyes to life like no one else ever has or could.

I am 59 and a drummer. I was turned on to Buckethead by an old friend, who is an astounding bass player, some fifteen years ago. I'm a Jeff Beck, Satriani / Vie/ Andy Timmons etc. fan. Buckethead reaches me in a way that no other artists have. I believe he truly puts his soul into it, I feel his emotions, and every stroke of those strings speaks to me and quenches my soul's desire, which I never knew I had a hunger for. It's as if the notes are speaking directly to me. Earth Heals Herself is one of my favorites and it breaks my heart that Spotify can't release Population Override. Anyway, I just wanted to add my experience and appreciation for this awesome true artist. I pray that whatever God one prays to will bless all those who find and have found the real connection with music, and the calm it can bring to one's soul.

Buckethead's ability with the guitar is something spectacular. Anyone is capable of doing the same given the right factors but the fact that he has opened these doors and ventured so far into that world is a beacon to the rest of us. Its an example of what can be accomplished... not only on the guitar but in anything life. It shows us what kind of things can be achieved if given enough time and focus. His guitar playing should not only be a motivating beautiful example of the areas which humans can tread, but also an example of how the power of the mind soul and body can be utilized to reach astonishing levels of greatness in anything us humans are capable of. Stay focused an motivated everyone! Let's see what the power of our minds can bring to this earth!

Great song and the picture in the video is awesome, lonely, isolating, yet still busy and chaotic, majestic. It seems lonely looking out into the vastness of space, but there is so much life out there, yet you can't see it and it is completely untouchable, so you aren't really alone but still you are. Lifeforms on other planets probably look out into the sky and see our star all the time, they don't know we are here looking back, yet we are. I had to set it as my new desktop background, took awhile to find the image in a higher resolution but I finally found one

I just founded Buckethead a couple of months ago. I wished I founded him much earlier. I am so amazed by his playing and music. I would have most definitely attended one or two of his concert shows if I would have caught him early enough. I now put my earphones in beneath my ear muffs at work and while unloading product relaxing to Buckethead The time flows by so smoothly and my day is so much better. This is kind of funny. I just bought an older bass boat and I have been struggling trying to name it. Now I believe I'm gonna have the name Sooth Sayer painted on the back. The SS Sooth Sayer...Play on Bucketehead.
