Can somebody tell me why people that are close to my heart don't get it when I speak of Buckethead and the sheer joy I feel listening to his songs? Like this one. For me that is not a simple song - it goes much deeper. But nobody seems to understand that. They cannot connect the way that I do - I guess that is the answer.

To the average person, if a song doesn't have lyrics then they just don't get it. They'll even consider the entire song pointless if it doesn't have lyrics. It's extremely small-minded and ignorant, but that's how most people are unfortunately. They cannot appreciate Buckethead because what he creates is far above their heads and they just can't grasp it.
