Them striking screw drivers are made like their punches... That shank inside the handle is huge...

Darn , I am a year late to the party. Been seriously considering upgrading my screwdrivers. This is the best comparison of different pb handle types I have found. Got to hand it to Lonestarmopars for taking the time to do this. I would be thinking getting the black handle with striking cap in PH2 and a flat blade and then the non bolstered ones for everything else. I need to see a catalog

Pb Swiss definitely is hands down the best! I wish they had more longer options. I have their longest Swiss grip flat head for prying and large plastic rivets. I also have their stubby coin driver! Awesome for plastic rivets as well!

@Hand Tool Reviews all I see is just one 500 mm flathead in Swiss grip at 10mm. A 7mm would be nice..

I bought some pb file handles awhile back but mine arrived in a red color. I just squeezed my file into handles and gave a few good whacks to the top of the file with my hammer. They work great

That crazy, I had no idea the handles are wayyyy beefier on the swissgrip heavy duty and strike-cap version of screwdrivers. The red swissgrip is much grippier than the black. I can see the HD one in the middle being the best for getting the best torque from a hand grip.

That PB Swiss E6 PH2 bit is one of the best bits i've ever used, lasts forever...im a cabinet fitter, saved me a ton of money from buying junk chinesium bits that couldn't even last thru a week at work. Too bad PB Swiss don't make them in 65mm double headed config like the Wera 851/23 PH2, which imho is the best ive ever used...

Of you are working on Japanese cars or motorcycles Vessel cross point screwdrivers will do JIS and phillips. You will strip out that JIS screw with any other screwdriver.

They are all "power" / impact bits. E6 is just longer so that you can chuck it directly.

The multicraft drivers are absolutely gorgeous but I can't get past the smell of the material ... even being disguised with vanilla. Shame because they are soooo nice.

Another great video! I started watching your channel earlier this year and it caused me to go on a screwdriver buying spree. It is nice to finally see PB Swiss make it to your channel. I like the Swiss grip so much, I have bought everyone one they make!!! I am curious to hear what you think of them after some use. You mentioned it and you are correct, the flat head drivers are a cut above. They are worth bringing in. The tips are the best I have used.

Nice haul! I have never really liked that type of file handle - I use the wood handle ones that screw on. They can be a bit finicky but they work well for me. I'm curious to know how much the hex bolster and striking cap are actually used in practice. Also, I'll have to check out those long bits...might come in handy.

Great video, I have a thing about screwdrivers. Wiha are my favourite but I hear such good things about PB Swiss. If you get time, can you tell me the diameter of the standard Swiss Grip handle
@xprocharged14 жыл бұрын
I switched from wiha to PB Swiss a few years ago and gotta say they are a step above in about every way. I am an commercial/industrial electrician/instrumentation tech- screwdrivers all day every day. Their handle diameter varies a little based on the size of the tip. The standard #2 is a little smaller than the wiha #2, PB Swiss #2 has lasted longer than any I've used previously. Their parallel slotted drivers are their best feature IMO(plus Swiss grip handle feels better to me than anything else by a long shot)

@@xprocharged1 recently found some PB Swiss at an auto jumble, now I understand. Not sure why I understand, can't put it into words but I understand.
