Miss those Saturdays with my late father watching PBA Bowling growing up in the 80s & early 90s

Same. Didn’t miss a show with my dad from about 1979 to 1982. Use his Dick Weber 5 Star and learned to throw a hook with that until he bought me my first yellow dot

I miss those days of bowling in.the 80s and early 90s. I turned adult bowling for money at age 17 in 1983, after 12 years of junior bowling. Saturdays were fantastic, coming home after bowling my junior leagues doing my chores and then watching pro bowling on ABC in the afternoon. After I turned 23 fresh out of a 4 year tour in the Marine Corps, where I was living had a movie come on before the Pro Bowlers Tour came on ABC-TV Saturday afternoons. I wouldn't want to be a kid again but, I do miss those days of true test of ability and true bowling.

Wow. Aulby had two really lucky shots in the 10th. Not sure if Handley was smiling out of appreciation of Aulbys effort or out of disbelief.

Are Mike Aulby and Steve Cook related in some way? The announcers only mentioned it about 200 times, but maybe they weren't being serious.
