Looks to me that EJ has learned how to control his speed and his mental game. Also looks like he’s been hitting the gym. Looks more solid. EJ was my mother’s (she passed away in 2020) favorite bowler. I’m very pleased he’s back.

Happy to see EJ get the win. Belmo is the best of the best, and seems like a genuinely good dude, but I root against him because he wins SO much. EJ had nerves of steel in this match, he definitely earned it.

Belmo is not a genuinely good dude, don't you remember when he used to crumple his water bottle as his opponents were bowling??? He's a poor sportsman, not genuine. He used to do that to Sean Rash, that's why Sean hates him.

What a match! Both are my favorites and i was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Belmo had it but like Rob said the urethane became unpredictable during belmo’s 9th frame. Both stepped up during 10th frame tho! Congrats EJ!!!

This has certainly been Tacket's year. The Belmont effect got to him before with his nerves, but that is not the case here. Didn't miss the pocket once. Secured the win! Great match for both of them.

I think Belmo has lost a step or two. There was a time when it was rare when Belmo didn't make the TV cut. He's only made it twice this season, and he lost both times. He's been teetering between great and average, and more towards the average than great...
