Love Bowlwinkels in Eau Claire WI. Started out Wagner's West lanes when the original Wagner's had a fire. Moved the unburned lanes there. Updated a few years later. My old stomping grounds. Now I'm in a tiny 12 lane house where nothing ever works!

So we just switched to the other side of house for league and the oil there are putting out seems to be med/heavy and quite long. I can't seek to get my normal solids to hook. They continue spinning/sliding, instead of rolling out. This would be from lack of traction right? So I should drop to a lower grit ball to get it to grab? I'm pretty high rev/17mph (one hand no thumb), throw from right 25-30 board to left 2/3 arrow

For me my 3 favorite centers are 1- Howell Lanes ( it has Rev Rates so I can practice on any pattern!) 2- Playdrome Lanes, puts out a pretty challenging house shot so makes it pretty fun to bowl even with it being just a house shot and for 3- I'd say Bowlero Carolier(when I bowled here often it was Bruinswick Zone) I don't bowl here as much anymore but it's a massive house and it's pretty great for tournaments and practice(if you are allowed to go to the league half of the house)

ive only been to vegas lol but in vegas the lanes i went the most (in order) , Southpoint Suncoast Sunset/Sam's town (i feel like they're the same ngl) Red Rock (is surprisingly not bad and imo has the best cosmic but expensive) Santa Fe/Wildifire (i just like wildfire cuz of the couches and the oldschool feel lmao and me and my brother bowled in santa fe for like 8 games cuz of the morning deal 2 dollars a game so if u ever go here and wanna practice just saying) Some other places i havent been on like The Nerd but the lanes i hated the most is Orleans and Gold Coast thats just my opinion tho

The best series I ever bowled was with the lights out. Bowled 213, 242, 274 for my first (and only) 700 series. Closest I've been in league is (I think) 681.

Needs more loud disco music, drunks in the lane to the left and overly sugared teens in the lane to the right. Favorite bowling center I've been to: Probably the one at Joint Base Lewis McChord near Tacoma WA. My uncle is retired military (you need to be accompanied by either active or retired military to go on base), and a bunch of people in the family used to go do the "bowling for bucks" on Saturday nights, which was always a lot of fun.

Back when I was a 180 average bowler, I was actually better at “Cosmic” bowling. Haven’t tried it in years, but the average has improved to be over 220, not to brag or anything!

yes a long as you use all of the gripping holes every shot, so if you two hand it you can not have a thumb hole in that ball that you dont use

My Bowling center used to do Cosmic Bowling before but rarely. Nowadays they no longer do Cosmic Bowling. I personally don't have problems of Cosmic Bowling but I hate when Bowling centers convert their traditional open/close masking units to projector screens because it looks boring during Standard Bowling and too distracting during Cosmic Bowling.

I HATE "cosmic/disco/whateveryouwanttocallit" bowling. Light sensitive eyes with crap night vision makes this style of bowling next to impossible for Me to enjoy. I find it interesting that the few times I've seen Pro's do this, they've all had trouble to begin. You'd think with them having the reps to complete an approach with their eyes close, that it wouldn't be a problem.
