So everyone understands about the fan whistling. 46:42 - 1st whistle but during Randy’s footwork 47:41 randy catches him and calls him out before he can whistle 48:12- during his footwork again. 48:40 a longer whistle but while the pa announcer was talking 49:10 whistles a 5th time. And norm looks at the fan while shaking his head. Norm mentioned in a bowling podcast the fan was giving thumbs up to norm and was shocked at norm shaking his head and lowering his head in disgust. But wondered why nobody stopped the fan after whistling to interfere with Randy’s bowling 5 times.

holy crap. that's what that little noise is in the background? I thought it was a shoe scuffing the floor during the approach. I would be FURIOUS if I were Pederson. The tension is really underscored by the announcer saying, "this is for his career". omfg.

I say play to an empty arena. Then it's nobodies fault but mine. Golf too. Speeds up play. When a shot goes into the gallery, you don't waste time rearranging everyone. The pros don't have to avoid fistbumping a ten year kid if they aren't there. It seems as though every time there is an errant shot, someone's phone went off, they took a picture & didn't have it on silent, someone moved & said something or coughed. Solution? Empty arenas & golf courses. Simple!!!

Seriously… The fan is actually banned for life from bowling alleys because it wasn’t the 1st time the fan couldn’t be silent. He heckled Pete webber, Walter ray Williams jr, Patrick allen. There was a tournament Walter ray lost because he needed a strike but bowled a split due to someone using a camera with a flash right at his face during his approach and release of the ball. Did the same to Patrick allen 2 times. Then used a laser pointer to Pete webber multiple times in 3 different tournaments. But yeah let’s write off the jerk’s behavior and blame randy pederson…

I had never seen this final before, but I am glad I watched it this time. I'm like many bowlers who really both Randy and Norm and I was shocked to watch Randy go off on someone like he did. These guys are PROS and they should act like it with class and fortitude, he decided to place blame on someone far up in the stands because he threw a bad shot and didn't get the carry he wanted. He is a first-class jerk and a hot head and I hope he never is allowed back on the lanes. You didn't see or ever see him berate someone like that because he is a first-class pro. Back when I was bowling I got the chance of a lifetime to bowl with him in a pro-am in Austin Texas. He gave me some really good advice in the first game after rolling a 180 game, and then in the second and third games, I was above 240 in both of them, all due to Norm's advice.

@@BrianGreenwood1352 neither two ganders or lane patterns/ ball technology are the problem. 2 ganders brough needed attention and youth back into bowling and now bowling is on an incline in popularity. Lane patterns and ball technology is what makes modern bowling what it is. It makes bowlers strategize and make shots
