Adam Novik that is part of the NY state athletic commission’s concussion protocol. The doctor felt Wilder showed concussive symptoms in the 7th rd, so Wilder was examined. A boxer had recently died in the ring in NY, prior to the fight which that caused the NYSAC to update their concussion protocol and have a doctor check the fighter in between rounds to prevent another death. Nothing shady went down, all of this can be verified.

For example, Ruiz, AJ, Wilder, Parker, Whyte, Povetkin, and Fury. Those 7 fighters all by rights deserve to be rated higher based on wins and accomplishments. I would argue Ortiz is probably number 8 or so. But Ortiz IS a badass

It’s not an ego thing. He’s at the level where he needs a complete gym to himself. Imagine all the people that are gonna walk up to him picture, stare..etc. It’s just a convenience thing.
