I ended up purchasing a kit from Amazon for like 10 bucks. Handy kit! My 16' Duty had a rattle on both front door panel cards. Ended up being the inner most panel retainer clips.

Replaced my speakers a little over a year ago. Super easy! The only kinda hard part was trying to get the door locks lined up when putting the door panels back on. They kept going back into the lock position when I would put the panel back on which made me have to start over again. I think that the rear door panels were a litter bit harder to do because they wouldn't snap back down very easily. Coulda just been my truck. Wish I had this video long ago!

Thanks ARod! Great video. I have a passenger front door lock on '21 F-450 that seems to have stopped working. Not sure if its a sensor or something other. key fob as well as power locks (both sides) wont seem to lock or unlock the passenger front door. figuring out door panel removal is step one. :)

Great job brother, just bought my first SD it's a 2017 6.2 and I love it. I am going to replace my front door speakers so your video has been super helpful thanks. If I may ask you something, my SD is really basic, no sync system or even bluetooth. The issue I am having is that upon start up and shutting off the truck I get an audio message through the speakers.......in french....wt*. I have tried the language settings (all written prompts are in english) and that is fine. I have tried disconnecting the truck battery trying to reset evrything, french again! I just dont know how or what to do about this. The truck is from the Kentuckey plant so I have no idea why this happens. When I tell people I get a lot of jokes and I understand, but I wish someone could point me in the right direction and yes I have called a few Ford dealerships and no one seems know what to do. Thank you again

In 105 degree heat the piece of clear plastic fell out of my door. I had to pull the panel off to put it back on. Not sure if the plastic piece was necessary or not, but thanks to your video I got the panel off and the plastic glued in again.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod turns out, if you simply yank on the door panel hard, all the connections come loose, problem solved. Never did determine the problem with the door lock/unlock actuator buzzing but not moving. So now with unlocked doors permanently, it's one step easier to take.

I was having problems with my right rear door would not unlock put the window down while pulling on the lock rod got to unlock thanks to your video got door panel off did not replace just move stuff around now it unlock and locks

Awesome video! I do have a question. Have you replaced this wiring harness in the door before. I damage the camera wire that connects up from the door to the mirror looking at the parts diagram it shows I have to replace the entire harness. Is this hard?

Just had to do this on my 22 tremor. The plastic cover came loose and was getting the adhesive all over the window when going up and down and something scratched my window( glad it’s on the bottom where I won’t see it every day). Scraped my thumb pretty bad when pulling the door handle trim off. Then the lock indicator wouldn’t line back up for the life of me when reinstalling glad it back on when it did I was getting pissed off

Exactly the same as doing any 2015 and newer F-150 door panel, since they now share identical cabs on the 2017 and newer Super Duty trucks.

The handle cover has a slot on the bottom for a popsicle trim stick to be inserted and twisted to pop off the piece.

Does the top of the door panel have any clips on it? Mine isn’t tight against the window it is very loose. I pushed on it after my door froze shut and heard a pop now it’s loose. Hoping it’s a clip. It doesn’t even seem attached to the bottom it’s all floppy at the top like 1” pull back and it’s easy before resistance
